We booked Kinaldy Cottage quite last minute (2 days’ notice) for a two week stay, having never been there before. We are so glad we did! We received great directions beforehand and Isobel was waiting to greet us when we arrived following a 9 hour drive. We were met with a tour of the cottage, freshly baked bread, hens eggs and some home made biscuits and cake. The fridge and cupboards had absolutely everything you can think of - tea, fresh coffee, instant coffee, cooking oils and sauces, milk and butter so we were set until we ventured into Pitlochry to get supplies the next day. The cottage is extremely clean, cosy and well equipped for a couple and dog(s). The fireplace was a wonderful treat at the end of a day of exploring/walking and the logs were unlimited unlike in some other AirBnBs where you have to buy them. It’s so peaceful and the views are incredible. The grounds are super if you’re travelling with your dogs or just want to sit out at the picnic table for a drink at the end of a day. The bedroom has plenty of space to store clothes in wardrobes and chest of drawers so you don’t have to live our of your suitcase. The bed was large and so comfortable, with The White Company bedding! Ian and Isobel are amazing hosts. We can’t speak highly enough of them or the amazing accommodation they provided us!

A lovey cosy cottage with many fabulous local walks. Nothing was to much trouble for the hosts. Birds feeding at the window and roses up the walls like out of snow white! Would very much recommend.

Fantastic place to stay, wish we could have been there longer! Ian and Isobel were great hosts, lots of thoughtful touches. Place was exceptionally well cleaned and had everything we needed.

The cottage was fantastic. It is cosy and has everything you need to hand. The location is incredible with acres of Ian and Isobel’s land to explore. Our dog Bruce loved swimming in the river and running up the hills. Ian and Isobel were great hosts, on hand if needed but not in any way obtrusive to our stay. If we come back to the area, which we hope to do in the future, this is the only place we’d think of staying.

Everything was just perfect. The property is secluded (only wild nature around) but in the heart of Scotland and close enough to the highway for you to reach every interesting sight. Silence and peace at all times. The cottage is very nice and it has everything you might possibly need. The bed is very comfortable. Isobel and Ian are wonderful people and amazing guests (ask Isobel to try her raspberry jam...you won't regret it!), they are non-intrusive but always there if needed and always with a nice contagious smile. They recommended me nice spots to visit (thanks to them I was lucky enough to see the Highland Games nearby and the amazing Rannoch Station Tea Room). Now I have one more reason to love the beautiful land of Scotland. Thank you! I will be back for sure.
