Kinaldy Cottage is set amongst the hills of Highland Perthshire on the edge of the Cairngorm National Park. The cottage is well set back high above and on the North side of the B847. Distance to Blair Atholl is 9 miles, Pitlochry 14 miles, Aberfeldy 22 miles and the city of Perth 40 miles.
The cottage is in an ideal location for all types and grades of walking, all year round. There is golf, fishing, clay pigeon shooting, bird watching, cycling, adventure safaris, off-road quad biking and white river rafting, all available locally.
Highland Perthshire is a great location for wildlife enthusiasts and birdwatchers. You may spot deer, pine marten, otter and beaver. Bird species include the golden eagle, black grouse, raven, peregrine and osprey. The area is also one of the best places to observe the native red squirrels, as they live in the woods that fill the glens and line the rivers and lochs.
The House of Bruar is 4 miles, with a large clothing store, food hall, restaurant and gallery.
Blair Castle is 9 miles, standing in its own grounds near the village of Blair Atholl where you can visit the castle gardens, gift shop and Tullibardine Restaurant.
Pitlochry Festival Theatre is 14 miles, a large performing arts theatre located in the town of Pitlochry.
